I have been blogging for business for a long time, specifically for my own business or my personal brand. My purpose has always been to make an impact on readers by helping their businesses grow through marketing and by sharing my insights, thoughts and lessons learned. Recently I realized I may have made less of an impact than desired through a recent interaction on Twitter.

I recently saw this and was completely surprised anyone would recommend connecting your Facebook Page to your Twitter account. I do understand we are all very busy these days, but I am going to be completely honest in this post. All this tells your audience on Twitter is that you do not care about them because every post will end with an fb.me link, which means it was generated from Facebook.
